How to work a 9MA0 set

Start with Paper 1 under time, then Paper 2. Mark both against Pearson's scheme before you touch Paper 3. The applied paper is where timing usually slips, because statistics and mechanics sit in one script. When the same pure topic costs marks on both Paper 1 and Paper 2, move to the topic index for that topic only.

The June 2026 qualification boundary for 9MA0 was 254 for A* and 210 for A, out of 300. The full row is on the grade boundaries page, next to the Pearson file it was copied from. You cannot read "easier board" from that row.

The formula booklet for this specification is one Pearson book covering Mathematics and Further Mathematics. It is given out in the exam. All four maths boards are listed on the hub if you are comparing entries.

Questions people ask

Are these the official Edexcel A Level Maths past papers?
Each row links to the file on qualifications.pearson.com. June 2026 opens Pearson's centre sign-in rather than the PDF. This site does not host the files.
Is Paper 3 half statistics and half mechanics?
Pearson's assessment guide sets Paper 3 at 100 marks, with a statistics section and a mechanics section of 50 marks each, in a 2-hour paper.
Can I use International A Level papers instead?
No. Pearson International A Level is a different qualification, with different units and a January series. Nothing on this page replaces it.
