A Level Maths past papers

A Level Maths past papers from Edexcel, AQA, OCR and OCR MEI, sorted by board. Every file sits on the board's own site. The current specifications were first taught in 2017 and first examined in 2018, so papers from 2018 onwards match the course you are sitting.

Structure checked on 1 October 2026 against each board's specification.

That table is the useful part of an A Level Maths past papers index. A student who revises Edexcel Paper 1 as "the mechanics paper" is revising the wrong half of the course. Open the board page that matches your entry, then the formula booklet for what you are given in the room.

October and November 2020 Pearson papers carry summer dates on the cover. Pearson says the material was reused from the cancelled summer 2020 series. Read the series in the file list, not the date printed on the front.

After the paper

Grade boundaries tell you what the total became in June 2026. They do not tell you which board is easier. Questions by topic is for the topics that cost you marks. Further Mathematics is a different qualification: Further Maths past papers.

Questions people ask

Which exam board should I revise with?
The one your centre entered you for. A 9MA0 paper is not an H240 paper. The pure, statistics and mechanics split is different at each board.
Are the newest papers on this page?
Each board page lists the question paper, mark scheme and examiner report by series. Pearson's June 2026 files open a centre sign-in. OCR and AQA links are the board PDFs.
Do I need the mark scheme?
Yes. Method marks are invisible on the question paper. Mark the paper the same day you sit it.
