OCR MEI A Level Maths past papers
OCR MEI A Level Maths past papers are Mathematics B, code H640. Three papers, all taken at the end of the course. Two of them are 100 marks. The third is 75. The qualification total is 275, which is why an H640 grade boundary cannot be compared with a 300-mark board.

Paper 3 is the paper people mis-time. It is still 2 hours, but 15 of the marks on the June 2025 paper sit in Section B and depend on an insert. Practise Section A as a 60-mark pure paper, then Section B on its own, so the reading does not hide the comprehension marks. Formulae for H640 are printed in the question paper.

Questions people ask
- Is OCR MEI the same as OCR B?
- Yes. The qualification is A Level Mathematics B (MEI), specification H640. AS is H630. Students shorten it to OCR MEI.
- Why is Paper 3 only 75 marks?
- The specification sets H640/03 at 75 marks, 2 hours and 27.3% of the A Level. On the June 2025 paper, Section A is 60 marks and Section B, which refers to the insert, is 15.
- Do I get the article before the exam?
